PITTSBURGH-The Community College of Allegheny County's Washington County Center is offering a Small Business Management course that starts October 19 and runs for eight weeks. The hybrid course combines traditional classroom instruction (60 percent) with online collaboration and learning (40 percent). The in-class portion of the course will be held at the center on Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.

The BUS 240 Small Business Management 1 course is a stand-alone course that can be taken independently or as a capstone course in conjunction with the CCAC Business Management Associate Degree and Certificate programs. Provided for the first time as a hybrid offering, the course is ideal for individuals who are entrepreneurs or who may be considering starting a small business. It is designed to pull together several different skillsets, with the emphasis on management principles and their application to problems associated with the operation of a small business.

To register for the class, new students should visit the Registration office at CCAC Washington County Center or any CCAC campus. Current students can register through the MyCCAC portal. For more information, call the Washington County Center at 724.223.1012.
