CCAC to Host Open House Featuring Nursing and Allied Health Programs

PITTSBURGH

The Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) will host an in-person open house event at the college's Boyce Campus (595 Beatty Road, Monroeville, PA 15146) on Tuesday, July 18, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event is open to all current and prospective students, their family members and friends. CCAC staff and faculty, as well as health care employers, will be on hand to help visitors explore in-demand health care career opportunities, learn more about CCAC's Nursing and Allied Health programs, tour the campus facilities, and meet with representatives about financial aid and student life. Current CCAC students can learn about employment opportunities and incentives. Refreshments will be served and prize giveaways are planned. Registration is encouraged. 

CCAC offers 25 Associate of Science, certificate and diploma programs in the health careers. What's more, the college is one of the nation's leading producers of graduates with associate degrees in the health professions involving diagnostic, therapeutic, patient or administrative services. Programs include Anesthesia Technologist, Central Service Technician, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Dietary Manager/Dietetic Technician, Health Information Technology, Massage Therapist, Medical Assistant, Medical Insurance Specialist, Medical Laboratory Technician, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Phlebotomist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiation Therapy, Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray/CAT/MRI), Respiratory Therapy and Surgical Technologist.
