Visiting Student Registration

Getting started is Easy! Follow the steps below.

Find the Course(s) you are Looking for

Search our online course catalog and check the important dates in the Academic Calendar. To learn about the ways courses are offered, click here. Use our tuition calculator to help you estimate your cost.

 

Confirm with your Home College if the Credit will Transfer

Use the CCAC Catalog to find the Master Syllabus for the course(s) in which you intend to enroll. See Courses/Master Syllabi on the left side menu to see the master syllabi for the course. Share this syllabus with your advisor at your home school to confirm the course will transfer.

 

Apply to CCAC!

Apply Online Today! You will need to create an account, choose "Visiting Student" for your area of interest; do NOT select the major that you are pursuing at your home school. Once your account is created finish your application. If you have taken classes at CCAC before, you can skip this step.

Does the class you want to take have pre-requisites? If you have completed pre-requisite coursework at your home school, submit a copy of your unofficial college transcript with your registration. If you have not completed the pre-requisite, you may be required to take CCAC placement tests.

Returning to CCAC? If you have attended CCAC credit courses in the past, you do not need to complete the application process again. Visit the Registration Welcome Center to confirm your student information and reactivate your academic program.

 

Get Financial Aid from Home College (Optional)

Check with your home college to see if you are eligible to use your financial aid to pay for course(s) from CCAC. This allows students to take coursework at two institutions at the same time.

 

Confirm your Account Information

Visit the Virtual Registration Welcome Center to verify your permanent residency and confirm your information on file.

 

Register for Classes

There are many ways to register for classes:

  • With an academic advisor through Zoom. Please have your photo ID and your unofficial college transcript with you.
  • If you were a student and have an active CCAC Account, you can use CCAC Self-Service. Search for the course, add the section to your schedule and click Register Now button!
  • Email the registration form. Complete and sign a registration form and email to [email protected], along with a copy of your photo ID and an unofficial copy of your college transcript (to verify pre-requisites).

 

Create your CCAC Username and Password

Create your CCAC Username. If you did not have to take a placement test, you will need to create your CCAC Username. You will use this to log into CCAC systems, such as MyCCAC, Blackboard, your Academic Email and the Online Student Account Center. For more information on creating your CCAC Username, click here

 

Pay for Classes

Log in to the Online Student Account Center to pay for your classes. Use the Academic Calendar to see the payment due dates.
