Get Ready for the New Semester

CCAC has four full-service bookstores, located on the Allegheny, Boyce, North and South campuses. Each store is dedicated to serving the needs of students and faculty on their campus. CCAC bookstores carry all required textbooks and instructional materials, including a large selection of school supplies, reference books and study aids. The bookstores also sell CCAC insignia clothing and gifts, snacks, software and more. Students can order class rings and graduation regalia. Pittsburgh Regional Transit bus passes (ConnectCards) are currently available at the Allegheny, Boyce and South campus bookstores.

Get Your Textbooks

The CCAC bookstores carry new and used textbooks required for the courses offered on campus and through the online learning program. CCAC bookstores offer as many used books for sale as possible. Used textbooks sell for 25% less than new textbooks. To help lower the costs of higher education, CCAC students also have access to Follett's popular Rent-A-Text program, which saves up to 80% vs. the price of a new textbook. Follett also provides access to a large selection of digital solutions, including titles supported by BryteWave, Follett's digital textbook reader.

The bookstores also offer a Price Match option, under which the campus bookstore will match the price of textbooks offered for sale through Amazon or Barnes & Noble, with the difference in price placed on a bookstore gift card that can be used to purchase other items in the bookstores, including textbooks.

To see what materials your course may need, read the CCAC Help Center "Purchasing Books and Materials from the Bookstore" article.

Student Laptop Loaner Program

CCAC is offering a Student Loaner Laptop Program, which gives students the opportunity to borrow a laptop. Devices may be borrowed on a semester basis and students can keep their device(s) as long as they are enrolled at CCAC. Students can reach out to the Dean of Students Office through the Online Dean Form for more information about the Loaner Laptop Program.

Applications are submitted through the Loaner Laptop Request Form and approved on a first come, first serve basis, as long as devices are available. If approved, students may check out their devices at the campus library of their choosing during the pickup window (similarly to the way you check out a book at the library). The loaner laptops are not owned by the bookstore. For pickup, problems or returns, students must go to the campus library.
