LaunchPad: Accelerated General Education in One Term
Are you focused, motivated and ready to launch your college journey at full speed? LaunchPad is CCAC’s new accelerated general education experience, designed for students who are prepared to complete a full semester of college coursework in just one term—through two intensive eight-week sessions.
Whether you’re aiming to transfer, earn an associate degree or simply get ahead, LaunchPad helps you build early momentum and knock out key general education requirements with structure and support.
How It Works
Instead of taking multiple courses over 16 weeks, LaunchPad students take:
- Eight credits during the first eight-week session
- Seven credits during the second eight-week session
- SEM 105, a two-credit College Seminar course, which spans the entire 16 weeks
LaunchPad allows you to focus on fewer classes at a time while still completing 15 credits in one semester—keeping you on pace for graduation or transfer.
