About Partnerships
As part of the community in Allegheny County, CCAC has formed many partnerships with business to help enhance the education of the community members. These partnerships allow students to come to CCAC to enhance their lives, better their education and provide them with a tools to be successful.
Healthcare Careers Academy
The Community College of Allegheny County is partnering with Jefferson Regional Foundation to empower students with the goal to increase their own economic mobility, and, on a larger scale, improve the economic health of our region. The CCAC Healthcare Careers Academy (HCA) is a 2-week summer experience that is designed to expose 10th-12th grade students from the South Hills-Mon Valley area to family-sustaining career options in healthcare, allowing them to discover that today's healthcare careers extend well beyond physicians and nurses.

The Point Park University Cooperative Education (Co-op) Program provides an opportunity for undergraduate students to gain real-world, paid work experience while earning up to 12 credits toward their degree.
Through early identification and career readiness education at CCAC, students will become part of a network designed to prepare them to participate in purposeful and structured career and experiential learning programs upon transfer to Point Park.
Verizon Innovative Learning
The Community College of Allegheny County is partnering with Verizon and the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE) to ensure equitable access to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) education in under-resourced communities across the nation.
