The Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) will host in-person Open House events at South and Allegheny campuses this month. The events will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at CCAC South Campus (1750 Clairton Rd, West Mifflin) and on Thursday, Oct. 26, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at CCAC Allegheny Campus (808 Ridge Ave, Foerster Student Services Center).

The events are open to all. Prospective students, their family members and friends will have an opportunity to learn more about the college's programs, resources and campus activities. Attendees of the Allegheny campus open house will also have the opportunity to tour the new Center for Education Innovation & Training at CCAC and learn about exciting programs housed in the building.

Participants at each location will be able to interact with college administrators, faculty, advisors and staff. Attendees will learn how to enroll in one of CCAC's nearly 130 degree, certificate or diploma programs to meet their educational and career goals as well as explore the following:

  • Financial Aid
  • Military & Veterans Affairs
  • Resource Navigators
  • Student Life & Engagement
  • Student Services
  • Disability Resources & Services
  • Programs designed to facilitate easy transfer to four-year colleges and universities
  • In-demand careers that offer strong wages and career growth
  • Day, evening, weekend, virtual and online course offerings
