The new CCAC Culinary Institute received more than a few news bites surrounding its successful grand opening this month.

Held May 1, the ribbon-cutting ceremony was spotlighted in TV news with coverage of the event by KDKA-TV and WTAE-TV. In addition, Chef Art Inzinga, Chef Art Inzinga, CCAC Culinary Arts professor and program coordinator, was featured on KDKA Radio's “Big K Morning Show” with co-host Marty Griffin. Also, Chef Art and CCAC Culinary student Nelly Anderco appeared on KDKA-TV's “Talk Pittsburgh” (May 15). The segment highlighted the new Culinary Institute, and Chef Art and Nelly demonstrated how to prepare a Cajun shrimp Caesar salad (with dressing). What's more, Chef Art and the CCAC Culinary Institute will be the topic of a feature story in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Food section on May 30.
