    CCAC receives NSF grant for workforce collaborative that supports students in STEM programs
    The Community College of Allegheny County has received a grant totaling $629,207 from the National Science Foundation for the Biotechnology, Bioremediation, Math and Science (BioMaS) Workforce Collaborative project. The award is in effect from October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2020.
    CCAC FireVEST scholarship program graduates to be honored by Allegheny County Council
    Allegheny County Council will honor graduates of the Community College of Allegheny County FireVEST scholarship program during the council’s upcoming meeting.
    October Start Courses at CCAC South Campus Enrolling Now
    Missed the August start dates? Want to get a jump on spring 2016? Fall 2015 four- and eight-week courses can help you get ahead! First-time CCAC students should apply online at enrollcredit.ccac.edu. Current CCAC students should contact the South Campus Advisement office at 412.469.6238 or make an appointment using Appointment Central.
    CCAC holds college-wide enrollment open houses Monday, October 26, and Saturday, November 14
    The Community College of Allegheny County is hosting enrollment open houses at all eight of its locations Monday, October 26, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for prospective students and their families.
    CCAC’s West Hills Center to host Manufacturing Day on Friday, October 2
    CCAC Allegheny Campus to host “Youth Speak & We Listen!” youth town hall meeting
    Community College of Allegheny County will host a youth town hall meeting titled “Youth Speak & We Listen!” on Thursday, October 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on CCAC’s Allegheny Campus, located on the North Shore. The meeting will take place on the second floor of the Student Services Center on Ridge Avenue.
    CCAC North Campus to present distracted driving workshop using high-tech simulators
    A hands-on workshop titled “It Can Wait! Don’t Text and Drive” will be presented at the Community College of Allegheny County’s North Campus on Wednesday, September 23, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Atrium Stage and Pit area of the campus. The workshop is open to all CCAC students, staff and alumni.

  • Pride in CCAC with Dr. Bullock

  • Nominate a Distinguished Alumni

    CCAC will celebrate its 50th Anniversary and seeks to recognize 50 Distinguished Alumni at our 50th Anniversary Gala on November 19, 2016. Alumni/ae, former students, faculty, staff, current students and friends of CCAC are encouraged to submit nominations on behalf of those who have made a lasting impact on society through their outstanding professional, voluntary or philanthropic accomplishments. Nominations, along with any supporting documentation, must be submitted by December 31, 2015
