Why I Teach What I Teach
At the top of my syllabi, I include a quote: "May you discover your own special abilities and contribute them toward a better world." I am hopeful that my students will not only learn some psychological theories but develop self-knowledge and a better sense of their own lives and direction, as well. Everyone has unique gifts, and my goal is to encourage each individual.
