Free street festival set for Sept. 26 at CCAC Main Campus, Northside

Dollar Bank presents the CCAC Homecoming Festival! Ridge Avenue and Allegheny Commons surrounding CCAC’s Main Campus will be transformed into a free, fun-filled community celebration.
CCAC is inviting the college community, alumni and the public to help celebrate the college’s anniversary and six decades of success. Dollar Bank presents the CCAC Homecoming Festival (HOCO) on Saturday, Sept. 26, from noon to 7:00 p.m., when Ridge Avenue and Allegheny Commons surrounding CCAC’s Main Campus will be transformed into a free, fun-filled community celebration. Attendees can look forward to:
- Live performances & entertainment
- Food & merchandise vendors
- Family & children’s demonstrations & activities
- CCAC campus tours & exhibitions
- Contests & giveaways
The live stage entertainment lineup features crowd favorites and local talent, including DJ Selecta, the CCAC Choir, Calvin Stemley & Stemtecs, Steeltown Horns with Big Jus, NASH.V.ILL, the Bill Henry Band and a special showcase highlighting homegrown performers.
Food lovers can explore a global menu, sampling everything from Ghanaian and Jamaican cuisine to classic hot dogs, Italian favorites and vegan specialties. In the CNX Kids Zone, children can enjoy train rides, rock climbing, a pirate obstacle course, face painting, crafts and more. Meanwhile, the Advanced Manufacturing Zone, presented by Standard Bots, will feature robotics demonstrations and interactive activities.
The vendor/market area will showcase local artists, small businesses and organizations dedicated to education, career development, health, public service and community support.
