CCAC has been designated as a 2025–26 Military Friendly Institution by Military Friendly®, a program run by VIQTORY, a veteran-owned company dedicated to connecting military veterans with employment, education and entrepreneurship opportunities.

This designation recognizes a college, university or school for its strong commitment to supporting military-connected students—active-duty service members, veterans, reservists and their families—in achieving their educational goals. CCAC serves 240 veterans across the college and maintains a Military & Veterans Services office on each campus.

“The college is honored to receive this recognition and remains dedicated to supporting the success of its military-connected students,” said Dr. Quintin Bullock, CCAC president.

The Military Friendly® program awards this designation annually based on a rigorous evaluation of how institutions serve the military community. The evaluation considers publicly available data, surveys from the schools themselves and feedback from veteran students—and measures factors such as student retention and graduation rates, job placement and career services, support services tailored to military needs, use of federal education benefits, and academic and campus programs designed for veterans and their families.

Recognition as a Military Friendly® School affirms CCAC’s commitment to the success of military-affiliated students. This designation highlights the college’s robust support services, including veterans’ centers, career counseling, and academic advising, ensuring positive educational and employment outcomes that meet or exceed benchmarks for success compared to other institutions
