Biography

Amy is an original Pittsburgher who has always had a love of all animals and everything science. She dreamt of becoming a veterinarian and consequently this natural curiosity drove her to attend veterinary technician school right after graduating from high school which led her to become employed as a vet tech at the University of Pittsburgh’s animal research department. Amy eventually began working in corporate America as a Financial Analyst for another 9 years. Before long she was invited into CCAC’s Biotechnology program and graduated with her A.S. degree. She next transferred into Carlow University soon after her CCAC graduation to complete her B.S. degree and was hired into CCAC's biology department one-year after graduating from Carlow.
