The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in 1997 set the standards for continuing legal education programs. They have established minimum requirements for training in standards of professional competence and ethical behavior. Attorneys must accumulate 12 credit hours of instruction annually, 10 substantive credits hours and 2 ethics credit hours. Allegheny Community College offers classes three times each year, so you can schedule your course work when it's convenient for you.
