Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS)

Earn a designation in the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) by completing the five course requirement. The CEBS Designation is a total compensation credential that is recognized for the depth and breadth of critical knowledge that it provides. It combines the GBA and RPA curriculum to build a total compensation perspective.

For those new to the benefit field, CEBS can provide a solid knowledge base of the concepts and principles upon which employee benefit plans are designed. For the experienced benefit professional it can be a valuable refresher course, providing public recognition and respect for their expertise.

We recommend starting with GBA 1 or RPA 1 and work toward earning your Group Benefits Associate (GBA) or Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) on your path to the full CEBS.

Who Should Attend?

Individuals participating in the CEBS program represent all sectors of the employee benefits - plan sponsors, consulting firms, insurance companies, banks, administration, law, investment and accounting firms, labor organizations and other compensation and human resource functions.
